PLEASEHELP

my winamp has been working fine for months. Then I go to play a song today and it gives me an error message: MMSYSTEM004 The specified device is already in use.Please wait until it's free then try again. The top of the error message says: "Nullsoft waveOut plug-in v2.o2 (x86)". What the fuck is going on? Somebody help me out.

I am getting sick of this... There should be a separate read-only bugs forum containing important threads copied from other forums. Most people don't understand the difference between 'bug repots forum' and 'tech support forum'.

Also MAKE SURE that there are no other programs using your sound card. If you have SBlive, go to AudioHQ / device controls and set higher maximum simultaneous Wave playback.
