View Full Version : Opening Folder Shortcuts

While opening file(s) with the new Winamp 5.2, I double clicked on a folder shortcut to my music folder but it would only load the actual shortcut into the Winamp playlist and start playing it (the shortcut). This never happened to me on Winamp before. I'm using Windows XP Home SP2.

Actually, it does it for any shortcut, not just folder shortcuts. ~__~

Fixed this problem by doing a clean install. >__>;

I figured out what caused this problem. I did a clean install of Winamp but the FLAC plugin needed to be reinstalled. So I uninstalled and reinstalled FLAC, then it created the same problem. Then I uninstalled FLAC and manually deleted the in_flac.dll from the Plugins folder and it works again. http://flac.sourceforge.net/
