Skin Making Help

What exactly does it take to make a skin, how do you do it? I can make some cool art in adobe photoshop, but how do you set it up for winamp, anyone...help?

To get started: DL the Winamp Skin maker at http://members.***********/ajie_g/skinner.htm
Mkae a skin with it, then look into the ZIP it spits out. Compare what all the BMP files look like with what the parts of the skin look like and do, and you can figure out wchich BM does what. Then you can modify them to your hearts content. (don't just stick with the skin maker, all skins made by it look somewhat the same, it's just for giving you an idea of what does what)
