Hello everyone,

i just have some simple question:

Our Radio/TV Station exists since nearly a year. We 've been using a static IP at our rented dedicated server and from one day to the other we got banned for no reason.

There were no illegal or forbidden content and our headers are ok.

When i asked the ops in here i just got a short answer:
>> This ip has been used by a station to evade another ban.

What exactly does that mean, how's that possible and how can we avoid such things in futur?

I just ask it because we would like to continue making a serious and good programm without having problems (since change ip adresses isnt cheap (where i live) and in longer view it's no solution of the problem itself)

Thanx for your help

no one else that frequents these boards is going to assist.

hmm, i still wonder how such things happen because we make 24 hours music. so no1 else should be able to use our server. (only our own radio djs which are observed by our management)

But anyway, thanx folks for your answers.

We just hope that it wont happen again and maybe one day our ip will be unbanned (just a hope of myself)
