Who reviews these skins???

Am I the only one who thinks that some of the new Skin reviewers hardly know what they are doing? I'm seeing five stars given to copies of other skins. I've noticed this kind of stuff for a while. Of course I don't complain until it gets personal. Yup, submitted a skin I had worked on and off for a few months, it's called Sewer Creatures. Every piece was skinned. Put in some cool animated cursors too. Figured it'd at least get 4 stars..... got 2.Only 2. A previous skin I made, which I put hardly any work into got 4 stars. What's the deal? Granted my theme was a little odd, but it's supposed to be. I worked hard on making the whole skin seem interactive, not just buttons and the like. And recently on of my friends submitted a Dragonball Z skin. The reviewer commented that he wasn't a real fan of the show but he liked the bowling balls on the skin...HELLO? Shouldn't skins like these be reviewed by those who have at least some clue as to what the skin is about, those who can appreciate the details of it? Geez. I realize they get a lot of skins and they need to review them quickly and get them out of the way, but it doesn't seem right. Anyway, I'd appreciate input from other users about the poor reviews. Heck, take a look at my skin and tell me what you think of it. I'd at least like the opinion of more people. Thanks for listening to me whine.

Yeah, I'm with you. I DLd your skin. Cool animations, love the list button on the Playlist. I don't think it was a 2. One suggestion though: set the hot spot for your eqslid and volbal cursors to somewhere in the middle, hard to see where they're pointing. The cursors are cool though. I am sick of all the 5 star skins being boring, dull variations of a plain metal texture. I'm just bitter cause I got a 2 as well on one fully skinned, with a lot of work put in. Submitted the skin again 2 days later (was a newbie, didn't know how LONG it took), that version got 3, dunno. I hate seeing a five star obviously done in a skinmaker program *coughgenericampcough*. Oh well, I keep plugging. ramble ramble

Im totally with you all, all the 5 star skins look exactly the same these days, all metal and stoney shit!
I like the skins of Bands and things like that because they are actually interesting.
especially the one for
Foo Fighters
Im gonna submit a sking in the next couple of days, its my first one and its meant to be in the style of the excellent 80's kids program Button Moon. Be interesting to see what it gets, probably nothing because it doesnt look 3D and shiney!

Look out for it anyway!
