Text Editing in a Skin HEEELP!

Hi everyone, I am making my own skin now and I really need help with the text display part, what font do I need to use and what is the font size I need to use for the text.bmp, thanks in advance!

Well...
The text .bmp is not exactly any ONE size
font. Different fonts come in different sizes.

However, the best thing to know is that each
text character is 5 pixels across and 6
pixels vertical. SO this real small- which
gives very little room for "Snazzy" fonts.
(And forget about anti aliasing)

The main thing that matters is the the
text color, and the background color. Keep
it simple, and mainly coinciding with your
skins colors.

There are times you want a little different
look though, so basically what I do is zoom up real close so i can see big pixels. Then
I add and subtract pixels from the original
"font" that's there.
