I was hoping (vainly, perhaps) that winamp would support the kind of free-form skinning that Sonique, and especially K-Jofol use.
To me this is the one reason I use other MP3 players occasionally is because they usually LOOK COOLER...
In all other areas, stability, features, quality, plugins, etc, winamp whips the llama's ass, but falls far short of other players in looks.
For those of you who like winamp because you can stick any bmp in a skinmaker and come out with a skin (here I say USE SOME CREATIVITY!!!), Feel sorry for you, and sorry that the rest of us have to put up with you.
For those of you who like the current winamp interface because it's minimalistic and/or consistent, I agree completely. I have no problems with MOST skins (the above excluded) and simply wish for expanded possibilitys. The most anoying thing to me is the fixed placement of the buttons. Leaving the size would not bother me.
For those of you that agree with me, post here! There are unimagined possibilities in this!
