This makes my blood boil:

The fake/copied skin:
http://winamp.com/customize/detail.jhtml?componentId=20363

The original:
http://winamp.com/customize/detail.jhtml?componentId=17933

The original was made by my friend Dylan Holly. His online handle is "Zeramid", hence the Z-Amp. Notice his upload date is 2 weeks previous to Charles. The thing that pisses me off is Charles says:

"ZZZZZZZZZap I have spent long horus on this so please download"

He didnt spend jack shit on that skin: he ripped it off. The only time he spent was downloading it, then upping it to Winamp for review.

I highly recommend everyone here going here:

To complain about this. Also, email the fraud author @ theloxxx@aol.com

Please show your support for hard working winamp skin authors - its a shame to see them get ripped so badly like this.

What he's saying is correct. I couldnt BELIEVE it when I saw my skin in the top ten. At first I thought it was just a coincidence, but when I saw the screenshot of the same skin I uploaded 16 days earlier, I hit the ceiling. I couldnt fricking believe it.

The part that pissed me off the most was when he said "ZZZZZZZZZap I have spent long horus on this so please download". He actually said that he spent time working on it when he really just stole it from me...ARGH! I was so mad you couldnt even begin to understand. I searched frantically over winamp.com for some sort of person I could email but I found nothing. I know right now there are probably hundereds of people who have already downloaded that skin thinking he did it. That really sucked.

Anyways I'd just like to see this sorted out.

-Dylan Holly, the real author of Z-Amp.

I can't believe that people actually do that kind of stuff. I saw his post of that skin over at deskmod.com. There is no way that Dylan would steal that skin, I know he made it, and that he put days, not hours, days into that skin.

I've emailed Charles, waiting for a reply. I know Z's work to be authenticm and, quite frankly, brilliant.
This just disgusts me.
