I don't understand why when i connect to shoutcast and then search to see if my stream is connected, it says it can't be found. all the connections are correct, because sometimes it connects and sometimes it doesn't. in fact if i disconnect and reconnect a few times and mess around with the genre and name and stuff, then eventually it connects under the ORIGINAL genre name and max user and stuff, even though i changed the info. what's goin on?

some help please.

thank you

Search. This question has been asked too many times this week. YP is lagging. That's all.

But see that's what i thought also, so i waited it out for about 2 hours to connect and it still didn't. then i started doing the funky stuff like changing the name of 'description' and 'genre' and max users and then it worked rite away, but under the original 'description' and 'genre' and max users. why is that?

It's flakey. Nobody seems to know why. During the day, it will sometimes lag up to 2 hours behind on current song. Not a big deal if you're up 24/7, but if you only webcast once in a while, it can be a drag because sometimes you're done before it even lists your station.
