Downloading Skins

I never had a problem downloading skins until now. I try and download one and I get about 27k of whichever skin. It saves the skin name but it is in fact the base skin. Anybody had this problem before? Help me... if you can.

It's not the base skin. If you aren't finishing the dowload it could be due to the fact the wsz file is incomplete and can't be read. Therefore winamp defaults to the base skin.

AS to why you can't DL the whole thing, is it the connection dropping? is your hard drive full? Are you on AOL? Are you behind a firewall?

I am not going offline. Or should I say getting kicked off. for some reason I can only get around 27k of any skin. Even ones I've already downloaded. I've even reloaded Winamp over again but zip, zilch, nada. Hard drive is not full, don't use AOL and as for the firewall. If I knew what that was. I can only guess I am not behind one.
