I suck at skinning

I suck at skinning but i still think i deserve more than 2 stars if i skin every detail mb avs ALL cursors have a good color scheem....I admit this was one of my first skins and I used a program to start it with but i customized everything after that.....I could understand 3 stars but not 2 (i didnt post it for fear of laughs) http://forums.winamp.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Say, DarkTower, if you post the URL for your skin I promise I won't laugh... Especially since my first skin, which was completely skinned... everything including cursors and AVS, just got the same treatment. I also refuse to admit that I suck at skinning, although I will admit that the skin I'm working on right now, one for a baseball team that I don't even like, is much better than this one. Nevertheless, I would have expected this to get at least three stars. The guidelines on the NSDN site say that 2 stars is reserved for skins that do NOT have all the windows, etc. skinned. But who says these guys actually READ that stuff... The reviewer that did mine seems to be functionally illiterate if you read his comments.

One star is kind of harsh on that skin, Dark Tower. I would have given it more than that. The first thing you need to do is make sure that all your buttons are visible. The buttons on the main window especially are hard to see. That's the "technical merit" aspect. As to artistic impression, I hope that comes with time... I'm finding that I'm coming up with better ideas for skins even after just having done a few...
