First the "Look for new Online Media Channels on exit" did a great job of erasing the winamp video listings. Now the 5.2 version mixes video and music with a genre only listing along with some adverts on the right of the browser.
1) who needs more adverts? finding newly featured videos used to be easy - 5.13 has the "date added" button
2) 5.13 also has sorting options - artist name, genre, bitrate
3) 5.13 has a little search field - you know where you can type things in and not have to know whether the artist you want to hear is considered genre "x" or genre "y" - sorting by genre differs according to who defined the genre - music shops, dj's, countries, etc. + some groups fall under at least 2 genres (even for the same song) or according to the particular song they play. Why are you so desperately trying to kill winamp video (does winamp or AOL hate their videos - i always thought they were great)?
4) 5.13 has even a "select by artist" window! - once again, that's what is on the right side of the 5.13 browser instead of the adverts - just want to rub it in a bit.
It is obvious i loved winamp, wondered why winamp video / AOL wanted to kick the streams out of the listing and now why winamp 5.2 is delivering the final blow.
i am starting to get anoyed by the stupid little window at the starting of the great winamp 5.1x (anything under 5.2 actually) telling me to DOWNGRADE to 5.2x
Keep it up and winamp will be even worse than the rest of the players available - until 5.2 i actually never even looked at R..., Q..., MP..., etc.
