Audio Streaming And WebTv

Not sure if this is the right place to post, if not I'm sorry in advance. I was wondering, I have recieved numerous emails on my web page from people with web tv wondering if it is possible for them to listen to my station on WebTv. If it is possible could someone please tell me if there is anything special I would have to do or If it is not possible.

Possibly. I think WebTV has a Windows Media player (I'm not sure - maybe you could write back to some of the people who contacted you and ask them). If it does, then in theory it should be possible to build them an ASX file that will launch a SHOUTcast stream. Of course, I suspect a lot of WebTV clients are dialup, in which case the stream you send them to had better be 32kbps or less.

I get questions like that from listeners sometimes - I ask them to help me test stuff and usually they're pretty agreeable.
