I just wanted to start a thread that will let us show our appreciation and love for our "forum mom".

She's my best friend in real life, and there's nothing I wouldn't do for her. She's always there for me, and I am for her as well.

Not to mention she's one of the best posters in this forum.

So say something nice about her!

:)

Me and Missy met and dated way back in '88. We hit it off really good and decided to get married. While vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, I decided to let her know there was indeed someone else in my past, a blowhard named Airiella. I told her that I had blown her off but that she was rather clingy. It was decided that we'd pop a pin her and see if she'd just blow away.
She did. She was entirely blown away.
Anyway, we had a nice home with a picket fence, she popped out a bunch of mini humans and me? Well, I got that job test driving Lamborghinis.
We lived happily ever after up until that part where I woke up and had to go to work:(

Life sucks, then you fall asleep and dream.

not the first thread of this nature. i doubt it will be the last. everyone loves missy. why? cause she's super fantasteek sure. but it was decided long ago that ms. missy was to be the one we all like. because she seems to like everyone just the same. if youve never had a thead in your honor dont feel bad. we are just not as cool as she is.

we should start a web comic about missy. in which she conquer's evils, is super nice about it, and gets to bitch slap everyone at the same time. we could protest that it get put up on the main page. or we could start another cult.

Missy you are a light in digital darkness. Your heart like others in this place is one of those things that remind me why I should strive to become better.

Wow!

What gets me with Missy is that no matter how down she is herself - she allways has time for others and her words of kindness and understanding when a forum member needs it is are .. well ... just like remind me of what a Mom is...

*HugS* for you Missy ^_^

@ chev - Nutter lmao :D (Twice you got me tonight lol)

Missy,

I don't know you well, mainly because I haven't been here long, but, since you sound like such a wonderful gal, and since I don't have to work tomorrow (spring break), I'll raise my glass to you! Hell, I might even raise a second or third to you too before the night is through...

I haven't posted here in a while but I remember the thread (http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=232904) she made asking how we were doing and and giving such kind words to us; and also some of the other (http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=232905) threads (http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=232783) she made that brightened our day.

Thanks and lotsa hugs to you Missy for being the Angel of the Winamp forums.

wow, thank you so much everyone. Chris told me to come here and look at this thread -- You are all so awesome. Sorry I have not been here much. I have been working so much and traveling with work. Working 16-18 hour days again and totally exhausted. Chris, this is going to shock you but I quit my job today. Gave them a months notice. I dont know what I will do, but I know my body, mind, and spirit cant take the long hours and lower than average pay anymore.

Hugs to you all. I miss you all tons.
