Pop Ups don't really pop up

When I run my mouse over a control like "Stop" the pop up that is supposed to pop up and say "Stop" doesn't really pop up. It tries but it gets hidden behind the EQ.

If I pull the EQ away from the AMP it will pop up OK but who wants to do that? I like the way they look when they are together, not separated. Is this just the way it is, or could it be something like my video card?

I've discovered exactly the same problem.

Press ctrl-p. Click the 'Display' link on the left-hand side of the window. Click on the box labeled 'Display tooltips in Winamp's main window' in the right-hand side of the window. That should solve your problem.

I've got a way of fixing your problem, the only thing is, your monitor might not be able to handle it:

Set your resolution to 1280x1024 pixels

All that did was turn off the pop ups.

If the pop ups (tooltips) are on, and the EQ is below the amp, the pop ups for STOP, PLAY, etc., get lost BEHIND the EQ.

to the best of my knowledge, that's just the way it is. I've never gotten a tool tip to display on top of any other winamp window.
