I wonder, will WA ever get fixed so that it is ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE to have multiple instances of WA running?

I have complained a couple years ago of this annoying feature.

I have a session running and when I que a song from another program it usually starts a second session (or more in some cases).

It's about time.

There's another annoying problem that still isn't fixed. I reported this a few months back, but still no changes.

When you're in the media library and wish to delete a song to the recycle bin, if the song should be (playing so that it is opened), it can't be deleted of course. However, WA will still delete it from the library. It would be best if it did not. Saves re-scanning the library to re-insert it. If you want to truly removed it must be done manually or re-scan the library and repeat the process.

Be damned. Don't give that shit dlicterman. I HAVE multiple instances turned OFF. I've gone through this before and it's still is a problem.

Get it fixed.

This should be in tech support. What would help is a list of third party plugins. Confirm that you are doing this to a clean install (http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?postid=1212729#clean) with the default skin. What filetypes, system specs, etc.

OK, could you or someone move it please?

WA 5.21 registered, classic skin, no plugins, WA Profiler v0.8, DanceAmp v1.0, Mp3+G v1.4. XP Pro. IBM 266, 256K. I doesn't seem to bother me from Explorer as it once did but's back doing it now from third party programs like Shareaza. To my mind it should not, ever, when set to allow only one instance.
