programming start time to show?

ok, newbie question, and a search didn't turn up anything. Is there a way to set the start time of specific songs/items in the playlist?

ex: if you wanted a show to start a specific format at 8AM, then switch at 9AM, and switch again at noon?

anyone know a way to do this, in the playlist or is there a different solution?

You almost need an advanced streaming program like DRS or SAM to do things of this nature. Programs of this nature can change playlists, deal with live requests and a slew of other things that the normal winamp/dsp combo just isn't capable of.

you can program a daily playlist and plan ahead in weeks months and years if you wish.

Nick - is this only for use with your server? I already have a dedicated box (Linux) elsewhere.

the cds will connect to any shoutcast/icecast server regardless of who hosts it,,

but unfortunately not available to install on other boxes.
