This is more of a suggestion and is not a complaint.
Just tried to burn a cd using winamp 5.22 Pro (first time i
used the cd burning), was really surprised to find out that
it would take 39 minutes to write 15 songs and that they
would be in .cda format (as opposed to the original mp3
format). I cancelled it.
So i went and got the dBPower software from the web and now
i'm putting approx 190 tracks on a cd within 10 minutes max!
Works great (A short learning curve helps also). While its
not totally free, it wont break your wallet either. And the
cd'swork in my mp3 player in my auto and in my portable player
with no problems.
Winamp, you guys really need to devote some time to this
process and make it a choice - burn using cda or mp3 output.
Just a heads-up for you. Winamp is still my favorite player
and organizer.
