I know this may be elementary to some but I just need clarification. Can anyone explain to me the difference between the interal and external IP address. Which one should I give others to listen to my station?

If you have a router, the router assigned an IP address to your computer, usually of the form 192.168.0.x. This is only accessible to devices behind your router. Your ISP assigns an external IP address to your router. This IP address is accessible by anyone on the internet. This is the one you want to give out.

Now, if you don't have a router, it's all a moot point because you only have the one assigned to you by your ISP.
