hey.. justto let you know, but i'm not positive, you might want to check for the "ILOVEYOU: bug.. it messes with your mp3's and a file called KERNEL32. go to www.cnet.com (http://www.cnet.com) and get a IHATEYOU file that fixes the bug.

I have received a similar error for kernel32 after I installed directx7 and then installed the latest version of winamp. Everything was fine up until that point. Now I get the message when I open winamp - it plays the demo and thats it - bang. I have over 4000 tracks installed via winamp and now I cant play any of them - any fixes yet?
Hi... I got here late. I fixed this only after reinstalling winamp. Good luck. PS- Lots of detail on this type of error at Microsoft's Knowledge Base (MSKB). Search under Kernel and under Fault. http://forums.winamp.com/ubb/wink.gif
