How come their content is gone, ie: all the war and conspiracy theory documentaries.

AOL / disney finally realize that Phaylon focuses on exposing the Neo-Con agenda ? AOL / Disney is just another hand of big brother and the illuminati.

Now that ESS is also gone, I have little reason to watch shoutcast. It basically plain old sucks now.

If people stream copyrighted materials without permission then they get removed from the directory.

content is not controlled by shoutcast! its controlled by the stream providers themself. Also there are many that start with shoutcast, then want to make money and remove their stream from shoutcast directory and force you to use their website. This again is not shoutcast's fault at all but the broadcasters themself.
