No broadcast, no catalogue entry

Everything at my end seems to be working fine. It tells me I am connected, and that I am sending data.

These are the messages I get:

But my station does not appear in the catalogue, and when people enter my URL in their browser, they get a 'page not found' error.

Would appreciate any comments, because otherwise I will be wasting two hours of my time tomorrow. :)

Well, what's the URL for your stream so we can test it. Also, it can take up to a half-hour to be listed on SHOUTcast.com after it says you have been added.

Ah, that is good to know. So in fact I should start half an hour before I am due to broadcast.

The stream is http://212.159.103.212:8080, but I won't be broadcasting until noon and midnight tomorrow, for an hour each time.

If you like I will put it up now (1.10 am GMT) and keep it going for 40 minutes or so, in the hope that someone will be around to hear it.

Yes, it came up for me too; I hadn't been leaving it long enough. Did you get to it through the URL I gave?

The reason I ask is that a couple of people tried connecting when I was testing the station earlier, and both of them got a 'page not found' error when entering the URL. I can appreciate that it might take a long time for a station to appear in the directory, but I would have expected only a short delay before people could connect.
