It can rip any chapter just fine. However, it will grab only the 1st minute. And no, the rest of the chapter is not split into another chapter. Each chapter is actually longer than 1 minute, but DRW ignores everything past the 1 minute mark.

WTF?

Shareware? Driver problems?

You probably should contact the devloper / see if you can find support forums.

I would recomend Dvdfab decrypter it does a great job and its free. Google it you shan't be disapointed.

It's not drivers because DVD players on this comp can play the whole chapter just fine.

And the Support group.... They doesn't talk goodest English:

I think the demo version is supposed to be able to get the whole chapter... but I can't tell from that.

Or perhaps if someone can suggest a working freeware DVD ripper (I'm talking DVD to AVI/MPEG), that would be nice too.

And while we're at that... I'm also looking for a freeware program that lets me resize vids to any proportion. With my DVD recorder, I recorded me playing various games. I was playing most in widescreen, but all the DVD programs view and rip them in 4:3. I want to be able to stretch it to 16:9. (DVD Ripper Wizard lets you resize, but it has to stay 4:3)

EDIT 2:
That's not what I'm looking for. I'm not interested in getting the whole disc. (only a few select chapters) And I want it in AVI/MPEG.

I'd recommend ripping with DVD-decrypter and encoding to AVI/MPEG with Auto GordianKnot. Check out doom9.org for guides and such.

If you're running *nix, I'd highly recommend dvd::rip.

Rip the entire thing with dvdfab and then edit what you want out of it using a video editor.

Nevermind. I found Xilisoft DVD Ripper, which does everything I need. (almost. I can't get true widescreen, but I can get letterbox at least) Thanks for the help though.
