View Full Version : Delaying Visualisation by 'x' milliseconds

Greetings All,

I was wondering if there is an easy way to force MilkDrop to delay its visualisation by 'x' milliseconds. The visuals appear at the right time to the beat, however my computer processes the audio after it leaves winamp and introduces a 500 millisecond delay before I hear it from my speakers. This is turn makes the Milkdrop vis appear 500 milliseconds before the beat.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I could fix this by modding the Vis?

Thankyou
Ice

if you look in the winamp sdk, there is a varialbe you can set in the code(dont rember the name) but it basicly just delays the audio data comming to milkdrop, although that may delay it from comming out of winamp as well, but that would be your best bet
