hey everyone, i was just wanting to know if it would be possible to create a plugin that would allow better bass control.
basicly my idea is for a plugin that works with the equaliser to detect sounds in the 160khz and bellow frequency range, and also have a dB threashold(sp?). once initiated, the plugin would then fade out the beats of music (fully customisable settings) so that the bass isnt so abrubt when listening to music.
put simply, imagine drum beats coming out of the sub, what i want is for the beats to fade in and out slightly, so when you turn it up loud i dont get a headache. i love bass but not when it sounds like a pulse.
would this be a hard plugin to make? if its not too hard is there anyone who enjoys the chalange of making something like this? i think it would be a good feature. if not, can someone point me in the right direction?
