It'd be nice to be able to randomize only a small selection of the playlist.

Say you have a playlist with 300 songs that you've arranged in a nice flowing order, then you add another 100 songs that you just want to shuffle. It'd be nice to be able to select those 100 songs and then randomize them without jumbling up the other 300.

Perhaps using a modifier key, perhaps just building it into the randomize routine to only randomize the current selection unless the current selection is only one song, then it'd randomize the whole list..

a work around for that is to make the selection, queue them up and then using shift+m (in the playlist editor) quickly go to the enqueue list view of the jump to file plugin and then randomise the queue (right-click action on the list)

bit of a bump on this but it's now done for the next jtfe build (0.97.12) though a global hotkey to queue and randomise was added in the last build (0.97.11). along with the global hotkey action it's available in the playlist editor's right-click menu and also as shift+r in the playlist window (when there's a selection)
