i was wondering how to have different music like schranz, techno, drum and bass on one computer (server).
so people could choose on the website what they would like to listen to...if you understand me...
example:
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8000/listen.pls /schranz
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8009/listen.pls /techno
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8011/listen.pls / drum&bass

So if anybody can help me?
any help or any links/tutorials from the internet are welcomed :)
thanks for your help...

Moved from Winamp Discussion to Shoutcast Discussion,
assuming that's what you're using...?

Assign diffrent ports and install the DNAS in diffrent directorys.

can you be a little more specific about this?

You can run a diffrent instance of the SHOUTcast DNAS using a diffrent PortBase (Needs be at least two off from the original). This requires a second .ini/.conf file to be created, and then you just use the name of the file as a paramater when opening the server.

For more information, I'll need a little more too. Mostly, is this a Windows or Linux server?

You might want to also check out the first half of this article on setting multiple INI files on Windows.

This can be done with our shoutcast and cds servers,
we have many clients serving different stations / channels using this option,

1 shoutcast server and 1 cds server per channel.

click the cds links below for more information.

alternatively if you have a server allready then you can run multiple instances of shoutcast on different ports and sc_trans but this will bog down the load on the box as sc_trans is a bit meaty on cpu.
