I could not be lazy and just try it, but can shoutcast DSP encode into a windows media services server?

No. SHOUTcast streams in MP3 or AACPlus (or NSV), it does not support Windows Media.

hmm i dont think so
it works only with dnas from what i understand

Thanks. I was trying to get away with linux for the encoder and windows for the server.

you can put shoutcast dnas on a windows server if thats what you mean.

Sorry, should have been more clear, linux encoder to a windows media services server. :p

Does anyone know of any linux encoder that will encode into windows media services?

To the best of my knowledge there isn't, as the key word in Windows Media Services would be "Windows." But you are really asking at the wrong place....
