hey new to the community, forgive me if this is a stupid question, but i searched and did not find, so thats y i'm posting

here's the deal:
some buddies and I are running a collaborative radio station to perfect our dj-in skills in beat mixing, etc.., and to entertain others

there are 4 of us, we each broadcast via virtual dj on different pcs, in different ips addresses

is there someway we can make a .pls file that will include all our ips that we broadcast from, and it will automatically stream whichever ip connects first

like for example if there are 4 ips that we broadcast from, and it's bob's turn to dj and he's on ip #1, all the other ip's aren't streaming anything, so the playlist file would stream his ip

reason for this is we want to centralize our station for our listeners so we can simply give them one pls file to link, and it would connect to any or all of our ips when we broadcast from seperate pcs

THANK YOU

this is wat i got:
[playlist]
NumberOfEntries=3
File1=http://82.44.17.252:8000/
File2=http://djndre.bounceme.net:8000/
File3=http://sababa.bounceme.net:8000/

and the one on the bottom is active, it tries to connect to the first 2, and then it goes to bottom after 3 unresolved hosts

is there a better or more efficient way to do this?

Why not utilise one server and allow access to this by all 4 DJs.

When one DJ finishes his/her set - they simply stop their encoder allowing the next DJ to automatically log into the server.

the trick is to have the relieving dj begin to attempt to connect just before the current djay disconnects so that way when the first one disconnects the second one automatically connects. If you do it right you can make it appear pretty seamless.

can't use one server, we turn off our computers and it doesn't run all night and day, so we have to use our own computers whenever they are on

so is there a more efficienct way to do that play list, without having to wait 5 seconds till all the hosts above the correct stream are "unresolved"
