Very new in this bare with me.
Im wondering if I could open a popup in my website displaying a music player that automaticly starts buffering a shoutcast radio and make it play. The shoutcast radio station is not mine. would be ilegal? Even if is a non-profit website?

yes this can be done.

New rules of BMI say that direct linking from a website is illegal. People can only tune in through the yp or something like your licenser's website.

Relaying another person's stream is also illegal unless they give you permission.

However, if you do want to do this, search the forums for a 'flash player'

Tha's a great question actually, I'm glad I now have the answer to it. I typically don't like getting into legal messes.
