Since you added those ads/banner at the top of the 'online services' browser, I'm unable to get a list for shoutcast radio and shoutcast TV.

I can go to the Shoutcast radio website instead of using the browser in Winamp but I can't enter the shoutcast tv stations now. The lists doesn't show up, just the ugly banner.

I hope this will be solved very soon and for the time being I will dual boot into Linux for the ad-free Amarok which supports shoutcast too (this one is a jewel)

(please don't spoil winamp to be some sort of Kazaa , full of ads, common, you motivate people to leave windows in general, because they only think of earning more money)

hmm, sorry... I've readen about the problems of shoutcast...

strange, because you are not opensource and/or free(ads!)like Amarok for example, I would EXPECT it to be solved asap.

I think I'll give Itunes a try... (damn, why did I install windows after a month of Linux, now I remember why I left Windows a month ago... ads and golddiggers.

argh

SHOUTcast Radio via the Media Library is working fine (at least at my end). Try adding the following sites to Internet Explorer's trusted zones (Microsoft Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options... > Security tab > Trusted Sites icon > Sites... button)*.winamp.com
*.shoutcast.com

I don't use IE (because of ads)and it has no access to the internet (not secure, untrusted app)

I use Firefox with adblock extension.

still do what jonnymac said, because you don't use IE doesn't mean it's not used period. iirc, the shoutcast browser uses an embeded ie window.

I switched to iTunes... thanks for the player all these years but since ads are added... the player lost his sleek look.
My system is adfree with everything, from browsing to MSN etc. , winamp just doesn't match anymore.
But it has served me well through the years.

Good for you. You know, nothing is stopping you from using www.shoutcast.com in the web-browser with the ad blocking software of your choice. SHOUTcast did exist before the browser in the Media Library.

I will always use the shoutcast site, I can't live without it :)
