Hi,

Back last Nov. 06 there was many issues with SHOUTcast server running on dedibox unix "CENTOS" ref to yp touch not working.

All has been working great since then by adding the direct IP looks up for YP.SHOUTCAST.COM in the HOST files.

Nothing has changed on the server and it can still ping the IP address direct / trace from the command line.

But when looking at the SC view logs I'm getting yp.shoutcast.com error connection.

The server/s are not getting listed on Shoutcast directory and is dropping listeners every 4 - 5 minutes.

Can anyone help, many thanks in advanced.

Kind regards,
Mike

P.S server/s has been rebooted and I did try updating to 1.9.8 from 1.9.7, but still no fix.

Hi yeah,

looks to be ok now thx.

Feel free to delete this post now, I guess this was a DNS issue, but not sure where.

Regards,
Mike

probably just a minor hiccup with the yp. Happens all the time actually.
