Now this idea is so simple and so great that it has surely already been created by some great person

So all I would like to know is there

some kind of sample-box tool I could use for my winamp

lets say I am playing a song of my playlist and I really like the bridge or the chorous and I just want to record that part

is there some kind of sample plugin where I can tell it

I want the 15 seconds between 1:10 - 1:25 in the song

Answers would be much appreciated

cause the closest thing to it I have now is aborting a song in the middle of a downlaod and then having only the starting part of the song....

Better use a tool like mp3directcut (if the source is mp3 and you want to keep it in that format without losing quality) or audacity.

this way I can truncuate songs that have been ripped of a LP and have a mute start of about 5 seconds :D
