Hi I have searched the forums but i am sure I have not come accross an answer to my question. I have installed the shout cast server and dsp plug-in for winamp but when I go to save my configuration settings my computer comes up with the following message....Cannot create the c:\programfiles\Shoutcast\sc_serv.ini.file make sure the path and file name are correct.....then when i hit 'ok' it goes to the save as window when i select the shout cast config file to save my configurations it says sc_serv.ini already exists do you want to replace it? When I hit yes I come back to the original message 'c:\programfiles\Shoutcast\sc_serv.ini.file make sure the path and file name are correct or it askes me if I want to save it as a text file in my documents!

Please Help!

Thanks Mike

P.S. I am using windows Vista Home premium

heh.

Its in ini file. Windows thinks it is important and is helping you out by not allowing you to change it.

Solution: kill winblows; install linux.
