So I've got everything set up and can even hear my own broadcasts thru my WinAmp, but I tried to setup an embedded player on my site, which doesn't play. I have an .asx file uploaded there thru MegaUpload to download, and then users can listen thru their WinAmp. I wanna know if there's a way to just link it on my page so that it will open in whatever player when clicked, rather than being downloaded, or how to get the embedded player to play on my page... It just sits there...
Help plx. Thanx.

in the embedded script you only need to fill in IP adress and port.

Most likely you either type ip adress port and /listen.pls or something simular.

you need to upoad an asx file to your webhost and make sure you have the mime types configured for asx.

this post will help.

if you are saying the embedded player doesnt work post the ip of the server to ensure there is something for the embedded script to connect to.

your web host support staff should be able to help you with mime type configuration :)

don't forget, asx files should be saved in UTF-8 format
