winamp stops and is intermittent

i'm using shoutcast server, radiospy dj 1.5 plugin, and winamp 2.5. when winamp goes to the next track winamp stops playing. sometimes it will start playing the next track after a little delay. this also happens sometimes during tracks. most of the time i have to press the play or next track button for winamp to continue working. any ideas?? the reason i'm using winamp 2.5 is because i heard there are memory leaks in 2.62 so i downgraded to 2.5. at first it seemed to work but i'm still getting the same problems. could it be the plug-in i'm using?? i like the plug in since it allows for broadcasting. please help. i am a newbie to this forum. thanks.

i meant to say i'm using this plug-in because it allows me to broadcast at better qualities.

Use the shoutcast plugin. i had the same problem with radio spy plugin, used the pure shoutcast plugin and it works flawlessly now
