I got bored, decided to try skinning again. Still a WIP I need to figure out where to put my volume and seek.

Aww, you don't know how long that took to make in mspaint. I'll go for bigger then.

I never knew.... I just named it "Tak" because I could not think of anything else.

Aren't you always complaining about skins being too big?

You made that in paint? Impressive, but so not worth it. That sort of effect could be made in like 5 seconds in photoshop.
I used to be stubborn about sticking with paint too, but you're really making your own life harder.

Yeah, i was stubborn for a while, but Paint Shop Pro isnt so far away from paint. Its a good middle ground between paint and photoshop i reckon ;). I find it easier to use anyway :P

Ye, PSP is so much easier. Last time I used PS I used it for about 5min until I realized that you could not zoom with the mouse wheel...

In that case, all I'll say is: don't try to do photoshop effects (like bevels and gradients) in MSpaint. It may come out okay, but you'll still kick yourself for it later, when you realize how much time you've spent on it.
Try sticking with clever pixel art. It worked for me and it worked for El Argento.

use gimp, its a little bit different than PS, but its free and once you get used to it, you will have no problem with it.

Not sure if you've seen my past skins, lots of them are half done in GIMP, the other half.. Just never happened.

It's not that difficult to just finish the skin and post it afterwards right? It's not like a critical piece that needs fine tuning.
I agree with Luigi; doing Photoshop effects in Paint is phenomenally stupid. If you're going to be stuck with that tool at least do something creative with individual pixel work. Argento's Proyections comes to mind.

Eh, I might as well just finish this smaller one up and I'll make the bigger one later.

hey did you look at my suggestion? what do you say? i think you wanted to know where to put the volume and seek. of course my picture only should say where to put them, not in which style. (the pic is above, i'm too lazy to upload it again)
