Winamp has now so many buttons!!! D'oh!

I see on the site: 'IMPROVED! Sync capabilities for your device' and I read somewhere in the preferences: 'Here you can configure what is transferred when you hit the "Sync" button'...

If only I would know where to find that damned button!!! Am I supposed to be born with that knowledge or something? Cos I cannot find it anywhere on this site either, and the walkthrough is nothing but a piece of sh*t, Im sorry to say so

Nevertheless, I still say Winamp is a bliss, I'ld just like it if there was more info on where to find which buttons...

Are you looking for the section in the Preferences of the "Sync" button in the Library.

Ensure that you have your portable connected. Now go to the Portables section in the left Library pane. There should be an entry corresponding to your device, I believe mine says "iAudio E:". Click on that.

You should now be presented with a view that looks like the rest of the ML, a three pane view of Artist/Album. Now somewhere on the bottom of this view there should be some buttons. One of them should be labled Sync.

There is a known problem with Plays For Sure (P4S) devices that is to be fixed in v5.35.

Note: I a basing this of memory as this workstation doesn't have Winamp.

The Preferences for the Sync funtion are only present when the Portable is attached as they are stored on it. They are under Media Library preferences -> Portables -> <Device Name> -> Sync tab.

Winamp > Media Library window > Portables view > (Your Portable Device)...

Tanks for the replies, but I'm sorry to say I still can't find it...

When going to Preferences > Media Library > Zomp (my device)
I get a panel with 4 tabs: Sync, Autofill, Transcoding and Advanced

I would expect the Sync button to be somewhere on the Sync tab, the only thing thats there is the 'Here you can configure what is transferred when you hit the "Sync" button' I posted earlier, along with buttons boxes and fields to adjust settings

But no button that says 'Sync', also not on the other tabs
