Linerec + Winamp Problem

Yes this question has been burning me for weeks on end.. I'm trying to run winamp with linerec but everytime I activate linerec, it says 704 KBPS and 44khz.. I'm sure its not the shoutcast DSP problem but something within winamp or codecs.... If you can help me out please do! Thank you!

Just Ignore the Winamp interface, it doesn not reflect what is going out to SHOUTcast.

I see that you're a shoutclub member, but why is it that no one can hear my broadcasts anymore from linerec? Only from an mp3 i shoot out?

Make sure that your Recording Control in your System Mixer has Mic Selected.

I cnt get linerec:// to work. It just gives me "invalid URL". I am using winamp 2.5e. Is there some "IN_..." dll I should have installed?

Yea look in the Input plug-ins of this site.

Insure your settings to connect to your server are set correctly, ip address and password, your port settings. I have used linerec and had terrible skipping and get the 704kbps 44k on out too, but have studyed the issue and find that the numbers are irrevelant. I blame most of skipping problems on the 56k slow internet. Lets see how cable modems perform.
