http://forums.winamp.com/ubb/confused.gifI'm having problems voicing over my stream. I have tried the following configurations:

1. Playing Linerec:// with the advanced recording DSP plugin disabled. Using a second winamp I can connect but no sound comes out. I tried this with both a mic and stereo linein.

2. Enabling the advanced recording options for DSL plug-in for both microphone and linein. When I press talk the music fades and the linein music comes in; however, when I connect I don't hear anything even if the talk button is not depressed.

3. Tried both linerec:// and enabling advanced recording options at the same time. Still not working.

I find it bizarre that as soon as I set the Advanced Options for DSP I can't hear my stream on the second winamp.

I am using winamp 2.62, a Turtle Beach II sound card, and stream live to Live 365.

Somebody, please advise!!!!!

It's a mystery, alright. I know for sure that advanced mode only works with certain soundcards. Been trying to get this thing to work ever since I dumped Radiospy's DJ Tools back in February. Not many have had luck with it. My advice would be to wait for this to be addressed in the next version of the Shoutcast DSP. However, if anyone knows how to get it to work with a Soundblaster Live card, please let us know (hint, hint).

with SB Live, I found the solution is dead simple ....

Click the Audio HQ
find the Mixer and click it open
then in Mixer click the top of the FIRST coloumn and choose "What U hear"
that's all....

One problem with this is that u have to turn off ALL your 'wav' sounds (the WIN Sounds) otherwise it will also be broadcasted.. http://forums.winamp.com/ubb/smile.gif
Hope this will help you SB Live users.....
