Ok, if I don't know how much bandwidth I have available, how can I figure out how much I need in order to provide a 24k/bit stream to 30 users?

And how is the sound quality for a 24k stream?

24 kbps * 30 users * 1.1 = 792 kbps bandwidth. Cable or DSL won't hack it.

I think 24 kbps is OK. Considering the soundcards and speakers on most computers, most listeners will hardly notice the difference between that and 56 kbps.
