playlist file not found error

I have been trying to rip songs with shoutcast and keep getting the error message:
Playlist file not found - try clearing your internet explorer cache
I've done that and have tried many things that have been suggested on the forums for other problems ie turned off the windows firewall, checked the file extensions...
and have no luck. any suggestions? I'm running Windows XP Pro
