now everything seems to be working fine...i show up in yp.shoutcast.com, but when i click to tune in, i get an error connecting to the host.

any ideas...please advise?
i have all software installed...thanks.

I have experienced the same problem, actually i am listed in the shoutcast directoy, but i can't connect to my host from another machine, only from mine, where the server is running.

I tried from another computer using a phone line, not im my network.

I am using a DSL and have no proxy or firewall (I guess). WinNT.

Does anyone may help me?

It could be that SHOUTcast is listing your ISP's Proxy server. Do a reverse lookup on the IP address being posted at SHOUTcast.
