Can't you chose one corner (preferrably: top, right) for a standardized login/logout link - at precisely the very same position on each and every page:confused:?

Can't say right now how easy it is basically to find the login link (perhaps it's easy, perhaps I just stumbled over it in the right moment) - a logout link is really hard to find. I, so far, found one: 2nd links row at the top (the gray one - hey, it's missing on the "home"page ...), 1st box ("Main"), then - oh, don't doubt, it is there - scroll down - be patient and trust me - and there, in dark claret, small & thin letters ... there you are.

Phew. And I found none on any other page. Um ... visit Wikipedia, search for ... "usability", hm?

Good luck.

Why in the world would you want to log out anyway, that would be highly illogical!

As for the Login, someone else already asked (http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=273136) about that.

For the Log Out, as a workaround or alternative, add the link to your browsers links bar.

Found out that if you hit reply to post and you are not logged in it takes to you login page and you enter your details. You then try to post again and you are still not logged in. Found out the username login at the bottom of the page works (after some time) you have no idea how annoying this was. Plus the plugin submission page is still not working. :(

Regarding this one and the other thread, JohnnyMac linked to, it's very funny how some of the senior master chiefs around here react sometimes on a legitimate question.

The log-out procedure is really annoying and the point "it's always been like that" is not even worth reading.

Is that a big deal to change that? I don't think so.

Why is it so hard for the WA staff to change these "small" things? It reminds me somehow on the "songticker scrolling discussion". Nobody really wanted the WA5 scrolling, it's just a little programming, but nothing happened for ages (thanks for the option in v5.5 anyway).
