View Full Version : Plugin submission page broken?

Hi!

I just tried to submit a plugin on the plugin submission page, however all I got afterwards was a blank page. I thought it might've something to do with me having JavaScript mostly turned off, but after enabling all I could think of I got the same result.

This might very well have resulted in me submitting the same plugin 3-4 times. If so, I apologise. It could also have resulted in it not getting submitted at all. If so... well, it would be nice to know. :) Nothing shows up in my submissions page, at least.

Regards,
Oscar

Yes, submission system is currently being upgraded, we are testing the new system at present and I'm guessing someone broke something on the live site.

It'll get there, stick with us :)

Allright. Good to know. :)
Any ETA on when it will be up again, or should I just keep trying for a while, see if it gets through?

Sorry no ETA, either keep trying or check out the forums, I'll try and put a note up in some of the relevant forums to say when it's back up again.

So I see my plug-in finally got published again, only it is once again a 0 byte download : hxxp://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/165966

Let me know if I should re-submit it a third time.

Please wait a while until it is all fixed. We will post a general announcement when the system is back up and running.

A funny thing I noticed yesterday, I had several versions of the same skin uploaded , 3 out of 4 versions were previous old one's I'd deleted and then sent as a new submission, deleted them again and they seem to have vanished leaving the correct more recent version on the site, wonder if something like this happend to prowler...

I'm hoping once the download is fixed that the all the reviews saying "the exe doesn't work" or "download is broken" or whatever can be deleted.

Maybe I should re-submit it again (what I did last when I noticed the exe was a 0 byte download) so it sits in unpublished limbo (since it's still going to be "a while until it is fixed")?

Seriously though, nobody is actually working on the website, right?
