DJ Announcer Test Reading Script

I want to test some potential announcers who are not experienced but would like to be.

Are there any good standardized test scripts I could have them read?

I could make one up " Thank you for calling ABC company " or have them read the declaration of independence or something...

What kind of answer is that? This is not the technical support forums. I am seeking tests for announcers. Other people who use announcers might *gasp* be broadcasters and might have a resource or know a link to one. (as I have not been so successful with google search)

i have not seen any scripts like you are looking for.

as a member that has been here for several years i thought i might have the experience needed to answer the question.

I wasnt offended. I just thought you might just think about it for a moment before posting.

Its not "just" the resources available within the forums have might have the answer (which you have pointed out is not here) but also the people who read the forums are valuable sources of information as well who have not necessarily put all of their wisdom in the forum in text format.

I suggest you re read the entire thread before making a ass of yourself. People run shoutcast radio stations, those people require announcers, (to which I am not offering any service) those people screen those announcers using some method. I would like to find a method.

If you can't find it on Google, what makes you think you can find it here.

This is what I tell perspective announcers what to say, if they can clearly say this then all is good:
[Add Greeting here] Hey this is DJ [Name Here] Live on [Station Name] The last 2 tracks heard we're [Artist/Song title] and [Artist/Song title] If you want more information about myself or the station visit [website here] [Artist/Song title] I'm DJ [Name here] Live on Radio [station name].

IF your DJ's can fill in the blanks, read that in a break, you are good to go.
