I'm a refugee from Windows Media Player. I've been using it for years, and using Winamp for nothing more than radio stations, however rarely I did that.
I was quite happy with WMP until recently, when it started to screw up for no reason whatsoever. Every time I played music, after a while, it would start to chop up, especially when I was running full-screen games. I did SEVERAL virus scans, adware/spyware scans, junk cleaning, registry cleaning, defragging, I even DOWNGRADED to WMP 10 and it still continued to do the same thing. It seemed my only real option was to dust off WinAMP and start using it.
Well I've been using it for a couple months now, and, despite being a little picky about the sound quality against WMP's, I'm quite happy with it.
Being that I've moved from WMP to WinAMP, I'm wondering, is there something that I can use to convert WMP Playlists (I have quite a few) to WinAMP ones without having to create new ones?
And, if anyone has some kind of fix for my WMP problem I explained, have experienced the same themselves, etc, could you please post whatever you did to (at least try) to fix it?
Many thanks! :D
