Hello,
I have a network and a server running ShoutCast server.
I have my main PC which is a laptop which is the DJ and I have a couple of other PC's around the place that I have setup to be listeners.
My question then is how I get the listeners to I "Tune In" to the server? I can't find where I can enter the IP or the Port?
I see in the WinAmp Library there is a ShoutCase Wire section with "Add". I have tried entering the server's IP and port but it just comes back saying Error Parsing XML data from server.
I can see that as the "DJ" I am broadcasting to the server, but I can't seem to pick up the stream from any of the listening computers?
I get the following lines in the server log whenever I try to connect a listener to the server:
<09/25/07@14:06:35> [dest: 192.168.16.146] starting stream (UID: 5)[L: 1]{A: Winamp/5.35}(P: 0)
<09/25/07@14:06:35> [dest: 192.168.16.146] connection closed (0 seconds) (UID: 5)[L: 0]{Bytes: 16384}(P: 0)
Any ideas?
Thanks
Chris
