Hi,

in AIMP (a russian media player that I tried for some time but switched back to winamp due to a non working media library) there is this really nice feature, that, when loading multiple folders into the playlist (for example double clicking "Audio" in the ML to enqueue all known audio files), AIMP shows the different folders (Like CD 1 CD 2) as a caption with a Line

Example:

---- Folder name CD 1 -----
Track 1
Track 2
Track 3
---- Folder name CD 2 -----
Track 1
Track 2

and so on...

It would be great, if it would be possible to have this as an option in the playlist view.

already feasible. Winamp supports, out of box, separator:// entries (no physical files) in the playlist

with Playlist Separator (http://www.nunzioweb.com/daz/files/Playlist_Separator_v2_1_9.exe) (version 2.1.9) by DrO, you can do this (in a very customizable way, and with different colors support)

a thread about it: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=192030

moreover, with this plugin also AlbumList (http://albumlist.sourceforge.net/) benefits

a quick example with the --- %album% --- string
