Here's my scenario: Got ShoutCAST configured, got WinAmp feeding it a stream, and it's working. My server has no soundcard, and so I DL'd and activated the NULL audio output plug-in. I've got multiple IP addresses on the server, and thought I had only assigned ShoutCAST to 192.168.0.2:8000 and passed it through my router (works through the router as well). The problem I have is that every time the track changes, I get an error that says (misspelling preserved) "Error connceting socket" with a title of "A" -- where's this coming from, and how do I kill it. Closing hundreds of these errors per day sucks...

I'm encountering the same problem, although I'm not using the null output plug-in.
I discovered the dialog box is due to the Song Title and URL being dispatched from the source plug-in. Unclick "Auto" next to both of them and press Apply. That'll be the last time you have to dismiss that pesky dialog.
The problem is, the source won't send out song titles or minibrowser URLs with the stream.

I discovered the solution to this problem.
I had to set the source IP to my "real" IP address, not 127.0.0.1 or localhost in *both* the SHOUTcast server config file and the Winamp DSP plug-in.
